A.M. Emergency Flying Ration MKII – Dated 1943

A.M. (Air Ministry)  Emergency Flying Ration MKII gilt metal box. Stores Ref. 27P/7. Approx. 11 x 8.5 x 2.8cm. Printed with A ‘Crown’ M to lid. The tin has surface corrosion to the base but all text is reasonably legible. This tin is dated September 1943. The rubber lid seal is also in tact. These rations were officially issued as part of the dinghy survival kit but saw wider distribution. Rare to find with contents.
