Anti Gas Respirator with bag – 48th Highlanders of Canada

General Service Anti-Gas Respirator with bag named to a soldier of the 48th Highlanders of Canada with army number B-73336. The set is yet unresearched and definitely deserve to be researched.  This is an early production Canadian Mk IV respirator, rubber mask with cloth material covered, dated May 1939, red coloured filter is dated 1940. The respirator haversack is very nicely worn, dated 1938, and nicely marked with soldier’s army number and stamped 48th Highlanders of Canada. No carrying strap.
