British/Canadian Mk3 Helmet with Camouflage Net

WW2 British/Canadian MkIII helmet with camouflage net. Production of the MkIII helmet began in late 1943. It utilized the existing MkII liner with cruciform pad as found in MkII helmets. The assault formations of the 21st Army Group were totally reequipped just prior to the Normandy invasion. These MkIII helmets were widely issued to British and Canadian D-Day assault troops. This helmet is in used condition, damaged liner. Comes with an original net with scrim (later added). Liner is maker marked FFL and dated 1943. Complete with chinstrap.
