British Skeleton Jerkin – Dated 1943

WW2 British Skeleton Jerkin. The skeleton jerkin is made from waterproof canvas duck material and features pocket closures with strings and small wooden toggles. The pockets are intended to hold Bren magazines (or other ammunition). The jerkin is maker marked H&S and early dated 1943, the first of these skeleton jerkins were produced in 1943. A scarce item to find when dated 1943.
