Camouflaged WW2 British Pixie Tank Suit. The camouflaged tank-suit first appeared in 1944. They are known as Tank-Suits or Pixie-Suits. The tank suits had a detachable hood with press studs. The suits are spacious for more comfort and maneuverability inside a tank. The tank suit was worn over the battledress. The tank suit in good condition, showing normal traces of usage. Both zippers are in good funtional condition. The press studs are Newey marked. The braces are still present and complete. The waist belt is not present. The label is present and maker marked, dated 1945, size 1. Fits a display mannequin 1.70 to 1.75 (normal length for the ’40s). Complete with hood.
