F&S All Steel – French Resistance Knife

All Steel Knife – French Resistance Knife

This is a very rare to find fighting knife. Also known by collectors as the French Resistance Knife or Naillhead Knife. Like many variants of the F&S there are various theories as to the origins of the All-Steel knives. That generally put about is that they were dropped into Europe for use by the resistance. These knives are very scarce and were probably not made in vast numbers. There are also pictures of British soldiers carrying the All-Steel knives in Normandy 1944.
The knife is in good used condition, the steel grip is cut with 5 rows of knurling and a oval crossguard. The sheath is in good used condition, made of soft leather and marked made in England on the back, with a press-stud which is Newey marked.

A must have for a British WW2 Fighting Knife collector.
