Pioneer Corps, 21st Army – P40 Battle Dress Jacket

550,00

Original WWII Pioneer Corps, 21st Army, P40 battle dress jacket. Features all original wartime applied badges. The insignia includes a pair of printed Pioneer Corps shoulder titles, 21st Army patches, Pioneer Corps bars (red/green), four years service chvrons and Lance-Corporal chevrons. Maker label present, the jacket is dated 1944 and marked as size 10. It shows clear signs of use. Shoulder insignia are cleaner, but keep in mind that they were often reapplied during the war when the badges were worn off. It was common practice to add new shoulder insignia rather than issue a new tunic. The jacket has a damage on the right lower breast pocket.

The shoulder titles appear very bright red in the photos, but it’s difficult to capture their true color accurately

A nice Pioneer Corps battle dress jacket in nice worn condition.
