RCEME Battle Dress Tunic & Beret – 2nd Canadian Infantry Division

Original WW2 Royal Canadian Electrical Mechanical Engineers (RCEME), 2nd Canadian Infantry Division battle-dress tunic and beret. This grouping belonged to a WW1 veteran as we can tell by the medal ribbons. The battle dress is a nice early 1943 dated example with plastic shoulder strap buttons. Maker marked by Strathcona Garment¬† MFG. Co. in size 9. In good condition, all insignia are original wartime applied, some of the insignia have some loose stitching due to wear. Printed RCEME shoulder titles, nice woolen ‘paperbacking’ 2nd Canadian Infantry Division patches and Corporal rank. The beret is in good used condition, shows minor damages, dated 1945, with its original capbadge and blue backing present.
