Original WWII Norton motorcycle handbook ‘The Norton Rider’s Handbook’. This is a military Issue 1940 edition, printed by Drew & Hopwood Ltd. Birmingham. The front inside is named to F.S. McGutchton with service-number L-22276 (Regina) with unit No.1 Provost Corps / Royal Canadian Mounted Police, 1st Canadian Infantry Division. It is in good condition. The object of this booklet is to make perfectly clear the operations which may be necessary in the maintenance of the Norton Motor Cycle, in order to ensure long and efficient service under all conditions. This handbook has a fold out lubrication chart with a side and top view of a WD Norton with girder forks. The reference table has headers with Location of Parts and W-D Oils to be used.
