14th Field Regiment – Battle Dress – Named E.G. Blakely
Very interesting WWII 14th Field Regiment Battle Dress tunic and Soldier’s Service Paybooks named to Everett Grant Blakely. The 14th Field Regiment – Royal Canadian Artillery was part of the 3rd Canadian Infantry Division. This regiment assault and land on Berniere sur Mer, Juno Beach together with the Queen’s Own Rifles, 6th of June 1944. The cameraman who took the famous footage of the QOR landing on Juno beach, was filming from a 105mm Self Propelled tank of the 14RCA.
This battle dress is in good used condition, shows some small moth damage, comes with its original lanyard. The jacket has original applied insignia. Blakely’s named is written inside the jacket. Nicely maker marked and dated 1944 with size 13. All paybooks are present and in good condition. Gunner EG Blakely came in Normandy on 30th of June 1944.
