British ‘Commando’ Green Beret – Kangol 1943

Original WWII British ‘Commando’ Green Beret. A textbook example of the famous and very hard-to-find green Commando beret. This example was manufactured by Kangol Wear Limited, dated 1943, size 6 1/4. It shows light service wear with only some scattered moth tracking and one small hole. The interior bears the War Department stamp with the letter code N, indicating a 1943 issue date. A very nice beret!
