Windproof Camouflaged Smock
Original WWII British windproof camouflaged smock. The camouflage windproof suits were made from the same lightweight, windproofed cotton material used for the drab tan sets. The camouflage pattern is similar to that of the Denison smock, sharing the same base colours and brushstroke style. This smock is in very good condition, with only some loose stitching in the throat area, a period soldier made alteration to create more space, easy to repair if the buyer wishes to. The are no signs that the smock ever had a maker’s label. Draw tapes are present. These smocks were very popular along British and Canadian troops, just infantry troops, snipers and special forces. These smocks were very popular among British and Canadian troops, particularly infantry, snipers, and special forces.
