British Commando Rucksack (Bergen) – 1944

Original WWII British Commando Rucksack (Bergen), second pattern. A 1944 dated example, made by Castle Golf Co. Ltd. Made from the dark green waterproof canvas (introduced before D-Day). The inner flap has a brass zipper with a rubberised backing showing age and damges. It comes complete with its original metal frame and webbing shoulder straps. This is a heavily used example, and showing signs of wear.
