British Light Respirator with bag – 1944

Original WWII British Light Respirator Set. An excellent example of a Light Respirator Set, consisting of the carrying bag with its carrying strap, the respirator with filter, and cord. The rubber respirator is dated 1944. The filter, dated May 1944, retains its original cork plug and also bears the Broad Arrow marking. The Light Mk II carrying bag, manufactured by ‘BUKTA’ in March 1944, shows honest field wear consistent with service use; the carrying sling is also very nicely stamped.
