British Medical Pannier – 1941

Original WWII British Medical Pannier. An original medical pannier, constructed from wicker and covered in canvas. This example was manufactured by Toy Time Toys Ltd, Southport, in 1941. The pannier is in very good condition, retaining all of its internal dividers, as well as the original carrying band and leather closing strap. While not all original contents are present, it still includes a selection of period bandages and medical supplies.

These panniers were also used by Airborne medics during the war and are now very hard to find, rarely appearing on the market.
