German Paratrooper Jump Boots

Original WWII pair of German second-pattern Fallschirmjäger jump boots. The black leather boots display honest period wear consistent with age and service. All stitching remains complete and intact, and the leather is overall supple and well preserved. The boots retain the characteristic exterior top markings, although they are now difficult to decipher due to wear 27 ½  3-43   0/4255/0007 This would be 27 ½  for size followed by month/year 3/43 and  RBNr. 0/4255/0007. At some point in their lifetime, the soles and laces were replaced. A desirable and well-preserved pair of original black leather German Fallschirmjäger jump boots.
