Royal Canadian Artillery Beret – Grand ‘Mere Knitting Company 1945

Original WWII Royal Canadian Artillery beret with its original applied cap badge with red backing. The beret is used and shows clear traces of wear, shows some moth damages. The cap badge and its red backing remain original and firmly in place. On the inside, behind the cap badge, is a plastic part used to keep the badge secure and prevent wear to the beret, a common practice among soldiers at the time. The beret was manufactured by Grand ’ Mere Knitting Company, dated 1945, size 7½.
