“Early Wartime” Canadian P37 Battle Dress Blouse – 1940

Original WWII Canadian P37 Battle Dress Blouse, dated 1940. A nice early-war example of a Canadian Battle Dress Blouse. The original maker’s label is still present and clearly marked “Tip Top Tailors Limited, Toronto”, size 7 and dated 1940. These maker’s labels are a desirable feature associated with early-production Canadian Battle Dress. The blouse also bears the Canadian C-Broad Arrow acceptance marking. It remains in lightly worn condition with no significant damage. It retains the “hook and eye” collar closure, large brown buttons to both shoulder straps, and early-war light green closure buttons.

A very nice, early 1940-dated example of a Canadian WWII Battle Dress Blouse. Hard to find!
