British Windproof Camouflaged Smock – C.W.S. 1944

1.350,00

Original WWII British Windproof Camouflaged Smock. The camouflage windproof suits were made from the same lightweight, windproofed cotton material used for the drab tan sets. The camouflage pattern is similar to that of the Denison smock, sharing the same base colours and brushstroke style. The production started in 1943. This smock is in good used condition. It shows some signs of wear but has no notable damage. The original maker’s label is present: C.W.S. Ltd, perfect size 5. and War-Department letter “M” stamped for the date 1944. Draw tapes and all buttons are present. This is a 1944 dated smock in a very desirable size.

These smocks were very popular among British and Canadian troops, particularly infantry, snipers, and special forces.
