RCEME, 1st Canadian Army – Battle Dress Jacket and Trousers

Original WWII Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (RCEME), 1st Canadian Army Battle Dress jacket and trousers. The jacket was manufactured by Master Craft Uniform Co. Reg’d, dated 1943 and marked size 9. It shows normal signs of wear consistent with service use, together with some moth damage. All insignia are original and period-applied, including a pair of British-made embroidered RCEME shoulder titles and 1st Canadian Army formation patches. The right lower sleeve features a nice original RCEME trade badge. The matching trousers are in similar condition and are marked size 8; the maker’s marking and date are faded and difficult to read. They show some moth damage as well as damage to the backside waist.
