British Windproof Camouflaged Smock – Cohen & Wilks 1943

€1.350,00

Original WWII British Windproof Camouflaged Smock. The camouflage windproof suits were made from the same lightweight, windproofed cotton material used for the drab tan sets. The camouflage pattern is similar to that of the Denison smock, sharing the same base colours and brushstroke style. The production started in 1943. This smock is in very good condition. It shows normal signs of wear, one field repair on the left elbow. The original maker’s label is present, a not often seen maker: Cohen & Wilks Ltd, size 2 and dated 1943. Draw tapes and all buttons are present. These smocks were very popular among British and Canadian troops, particularly infantry, snipers, and special forces.

This is an early 1943 dated smock in good condition.
