Algonquin Regiment – Cap badge with backing

Original WWII Algonquin Regiment cap badge, complete with its original red canvas backing and retaining pin. The soldier used a printed divisional patch as backing material, which was a common practice at the time. Cap badges retaining their original cloth backings are becoming increasingly difficult to find. The Algonquin Regiment served as part of the 4th Canadian Armoured Division during the Second World War.
