British (Airborne) Denison Smock – Henry Brown 1944

Original WWII British ‘Airborne’ 2nd Pattern Denison Smock. The smock retains its original maker’s label: Henry Brown (Clothiers) Ltd, desirable size 4, dated 1944. The smock is in good condition and shows two small period field repairs, and one cuff button is replaced. The tail is still present. All brass press-studs are present, functional, and marked Newey. The half-zip was replaced at some point. While primarily associated with Airborne troops, Denison smocks were also widely used by British and Canadian infantry units.
