British (Airborne) String Vest – 1942

Original WWII British (Airborne) String Vest, dated 1942. These vests were issued to various units in the Second World War, including the RAF and British Airborne, and are now often called “Airborne string vests.” Known mainly as cold-weather gear. Very good condition. It looks slightly discolored in the photo, but it is actually pure white. Complete with makers label: H&S, size 3, date 1942.
