British/Canadian Cigarettes Tin – Full

Original WWII British/Canadian cigarettes tin with cigarettes present. A nice original period metal cigarettes tin, as used by British and Canadian troops during WWII. The tin is simply marked “CIGARETTES” in green lettering on the lid and remains complete with all of the original cigarettes still inside. The cigarettes show manufacturer markings. The tin shows age and wear but remains in very nice original condition. The side of the lid is stamped “MB” what stands for The Metal Box Company Ltd (often stamped as 3MB or M.B.), a major British packaging manufacturer that produced vast quantities of metal tins, containers, and military hardware during the war. It’s nice to find a tin, but finding one with the cigarettes still inside is quite difficult.
