British Collarless Shirt – 1944
Original WWII British Collarless Shirt. This original British Army collarless shirt is a large size and remains in good condition with only minimal signs of wear. One cuff button is missing. The shirt is clearly maker-marked GS&Co, dated 1944, and bears the British broad arrow acceptance stamp, making it a well-marked example of a wartime-issued garment.
Although manufactured for the British Army, this pattern of collarless shirt was also worn by Canadian troops during the WWII, as Canadian forces used many items of British-issued clothing and equipment throughout the conflict.
Hard to find in this condition with a clear date stamp.
