British Denim Blouse – Dated 1941

Original WWII British Denim Blouse. A very nice British “Overalls, Blouse, Denim No. 3”, preserved in unissued condition. Manufactured by Star MFG Co Ltd, Belfast, dated August 1941 and in the desirable size 7. Complete with all original buttons and its perfectly readable maker’s label. Introduced as work and training clothing, these green-khaki denim blouses followed the general Pattern 1937 Battledress design. They were widely used by British troops and are also well known for their association with Commando units during training and early wartime operations.
