British Provost Marshal Armband

Original WWII British Provost Marshal armband. The armband is in used condition and shows signs of age and service wear, including some discoloration and minor damages. It is fitted with original Newey press-studs.

During the Second World War, the British Provost Marshal served as the senior military police officer responsible for maintaining law, order, and discipline throughout the British Army. Operating through the Corps of Military Police (CMP), the Provost Marshal oversaw personnel responsible for traffic control, prisoner handling, criminal investigations, and other military police duties across all major theatres of war.
