British Trousers, Windproof Camouflaged

Original WWII British Windproof Camouflaged Trousers. Production of the British Windproof Camouflage Suit began in 1943. The camouflage windproof suits were made from the same lightweight, windproofed cotton material used for the drab tan sets. The camouflage pattern is similar to that of the Denison smock, sharing the same base colours and brushstroke style. This pair of trousers is in used condition and shows a couple of field-repairs.The draw tapes are present and intact. Both buttoned ankle fastening tabs retain their original buttons, although the buttons on one side show oxidation. The trousers measure 50 cm across the waist and have a total length of 150 cm. The left leg is stamped with double broad arrow marking.
