British Windproof Camouflaged Smock
Original WWII British Windproof Camouflaged Smock. The camouflage windproof suits were made from the same lightweight, windproofed cotton material used for the drab tan sets. The camouflage pattern is similar to that of the Denison smock, sharing the same base colours and brushstroke style. The production started in 1943. This smock is in used condition and features a field repair on the back. The maker’s label is no longer present. All draw tapes and buttons are intact. Based on its measurements, it is a size 4 smock. The back of the smock is stamped with arrows.
These smocks were very popular among British and Canadian troops, particularly infantry, snipers, and special forces.
