Original WWII Calgary Highlanders of Canada MkII Helmet – 1940 Dated. A stunning helmet with original regimental flash of the Calgary Highlanders of Canada, 2nd Canadian Infantry Division. The helmet remains in untouched, uncleaned condition, just as found, shows clear traces of wear. The helmet’s interior is maker marked “ROCO” for Rubery Owen & Co. and dated 1940. Its original liner is manufactured by VERO, also dated 1940, and is size 6 3/4. Many Canadian troops who arrived in the United Kingdom during the early years of the war were issued British-manufactured helmets and equipment, making the British-made components entirely appropriate for an early Canadian wartime helmet.
