Canadian Small Pack with Contents – Lieutenant J.L. Field

Original WWII Canadian Small Pack with personal contents, named to Lieutenant J.L. Field. The webbing haversack remains in good used condition, showing normal traces of wartime use and age. The markings have become faded. Particularly interesting is that the small pack still contains a selection of period booklets and personal equipment belonging to the officer, including Task System – Standing Orders for Drivers of M.T. Vehicles and Motorcycles, The Officer and Fighting Efficiency, Artillery Training, First Aid to the Injured, Dismounted Drill for the Royal Artillery, The Officer’s Job and two New Testaments. Also included is an original Canadian mess tin set; the smaller mess tin is missing its handle. A transparent plastic set square, presumably used for map work, is also included. A very interesting and personal named Canadian WWII grouping with a particularly nice selection of wartime manuals and personal equipment.
