Denison Smock (Airborne Troops) – Dated 1942

A scarce WW2 British Denison Smock (Airborne Troops). This is a 1st pattern smock in good condition, shows traces of wear, a repair to right upper arm. The smock is fitted with its original clearly readable maker’s label, WAREINGS (N’TON) Ltd. dated 1942 in size 5 (which is the best mannequin size IMO). WD stamped with letter N for 1943. The half zip is funtional and marked Lightning. Both knitted cuffs are in good condition with traces of wear. The tail is taken off which is very common to see.  Brass press-studs are NEWEY marked.
