German Windscreen Defroster for the Kübelwagen

Original WWII German windscreen defroster for the Kübelwagen, part of the “Sonderausrüstung für Winterbetrieb”. These defrosters can be seen in several original wartime photographs fitted to Kübelwagens. The defroster consists of a glass panel in metal frame with four electrical heating wires and is suitable for both 6V and 12V systems. Complete with adjustable mounting arms, switches, original cloth covered power cable. The fram is still in its original wartime paint. The glass is marked Sigla.
