RCEME – Cap badge with backing

Original WWII Royal Canadian Electrical Mechanical Engineers (RCEME) cap badge, complete with its original blue cloth backing, which appears to have remained with the badge since the war. The badge has settled nicely into the cloth, untouched example. Cap badges retaining their original cloth backings are becoming increasingly difficult to find.
