Royal Artillery (unusual modification) – Cap badge

Original WWII Royal (Canadian) Artillery cap badge featuring an unusual modification to the gun wheel. The originally flat wheel has been pushed out from the reverse, giving it a pronounced three-dimensional, almost conical appearance. A separate pin or rivet has also been fitted through the centre of the wheel hub. An interesting and unusual modification of the standard artillery cap badge. Complete with lug fasteners and pin.
