Royal Canadian Army Service Corps – Battle Dress Jacket
Original WWII Royal Canadian Army Service Corps (RCASC) Battle Dress jacket. This is an original, period badged example with embroidered insignia, consisting of a pair of early Engelish-made Royal Canadian Army Service Corps shoulder titles with white edge and melton 2nd Canadian Infantry Division formation patches that are nicely sunken into the fabric, although the insignia has come loose from the stitching on the uniform on the right sleeve. The Battle Dress jacket remains in worn condition, with some small damages. It is maker marked by S&G Clothing and dated March 1945, in size 3. The right lower sleeve bears a service chevron for four years of service. Note: The Canadian Volunteer Service Medal ribbon was in the breast pocket and comes with the jacket. A hard to find jacket.
An untouched RCASC Battle Dress jacket with character.
