Trousers, Windproof Camouflaged – Dated 1943
Original WWII pair of British Trousers, Windproof Camouflaged. The camouflage windproof suits were made from the same lightweight, windproofed cotton material used for the drab tan sets. The camouflage pattern is similar to that of the Denison smock, sharing the same base colours and brushstroke style. This pair of trousers is in good condition with no damage. It retains its original maker’s label: John Gordon & Co, dated 1943, size 7. The first camouflage windproof suits were introduced in 1943. Draw tapes are present.
