U.S. M1A1 Carbine Jump Case – 1943

Original WWII U.S. M1A1 Carbine Paratrooper Jump Case in unused condition. The M1A1 Carbine was the paratrooper variant of the M1 Carbine, featuring a folding stock. Known variously as the M1A1 Scabbard, Jump Case, or Paratrooper Holster, it was designed to protect and carry the M1A1 folding-stock carbine during parachute jumps. This example is nicely maker-marked “Atlas Awning”, dated 1943, and remains in excellent, unused condition.
