U.S. “Mae West” Life Preserver type B4 – 1944

Original WWII USAAF Type B-4 Life Preserver, the legendary “Mae West,” of the standard regulation type issued to Army Air Forces aircrews and also supplied to Airborne troops during Operation Neptune. Manufactured in February 1944 by The Firestone R. & L. Prod. Co. Very good overall condition, retaining all original straps, rubber inflation hoses, and both CO² cartridge emplacements. A great piece aviation and airborne equipment.
