U.S. Waterproof Rifle Bag – 1944

Original WWII U.S. Waterproof Rifle Bag. These waterproof bags were designed to protect rifles and carbines from water and sand during amphibious landings, including the type used on D-Day. Suitable for the M1 Garand, M1 Carbine and Springfield rifle. The bag is marked “Cover, Waterproof, Rifle”, Spec. P.O.D. No. 377-B, Stock No. 74-C-310-41, Dated October 1944, and Philadelphia Q.M. Depot. A few small damages, furthermore good condition.
