Tam O’ Shanter – North Nova Scotia Highlanders
Very nice WW2 Tam O’Shanter to the North Nova Scotia Highlanders (NNSH). The balmoral bears its original cap badge and tartan of the NNSH. The North Nova Scotia Highlanders was part of the 9th Brigade, 3rd Canadian Infantry Division and landed on D-Day June 6 1944 on the beaches of Normandy. This is an English made beret and maker marked by the company Anderson & Sons.
Good condition, and good size. On top of the Tam features the classic red tourie used by the NNSH and also other Scottish regiments like the 48th Highlanders, stitching of the tourie is a bit loose.
