5th Field Regiment RCA – Lieutenant C. Gilmour – Battle Dress
Original WW2 5th Field Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery (5 RCA) battle dress tunic named to Lieutenant C. Gilmour. The 5th Field Regiment was part of the 2nd Canadian Infantry Division. The tunic is in field worn condition, shows some damages and clear traces of wear, the breast pockets on the inside are worn out. Original wartime applied printed insignia, and embroidered CANADA titles. Maker marked by Workman Uniform Co. Ltd, dated 1943 in size 16. Lieutenant Gilmour’s name is written inside. One closer button is missing.
This is a field worn tunic, very interesting RCA regiment.

Description
This is a Canadian battledress named to a Lance-Corporal of the 6th Field Regiment – 2nd Canadian Infantry Division. The tunic shows traces of usage, nice ‘combat look’. The battledress has a small damage on the right front pocket. Tunic bears printed insignia, embroidered signal patch and Lance-Corporal stripes and service stripes. Nicely maker marked and dated 1943 with size 10. Complete with its original lanyard.
Great tunic for combat display!
