Belgium SAS – Battle Dress tunic

Original WW2 Belgium Special Air Service (S.A.S.) battle dress tunic. The tunic is original period badged, both shoulders have the S.A.S. embroidered shoulder titles (some loose stitching), chevrons for Corporal rank, chevrons for three years of service and the Airborne division patch only on the left sleeve, wing is taken off. Right breast pocket has a badge of the Belgium Army in United Kingdom. The tunic is in used condition, WD with letter M marked what indicates the date of issue 1944. WW2 medal ribbons present including the Belgian War Service Medal which was a military decoration of Belgium. It was established by royal decree of the Regent on 16 February 1945 to recognize Belgian servicemen and women who served during World War 2. The collar is period modified. This BD is named but hard to read.
