RARE Sten Gun Blanking Plate

Very rare original WWII Sten Gun Blanking Plate. Designed for use when the Sten gun stock is removed—typically on the MK V by paratroopers, it reduces the overall size of the weapon. The blanking plate prevents the spring and bolt from ejecting from the rear. When not in use, it was stored in a special pouch attached to the Airborne bayonet frog (Just for example shown in the last photo, this item has been sold). It remains in overall very good condition and it is marked.
