Wehrmacht (Heer) M42 helmet – EF64

Wehrmacht (Heer) M42 helmet. The helmet is in untouched condition, it was recently discovered in the Netherlands, helmet is in used condition. Still retaining about 80% of its original rough-textured field-grey paint, shows clear traces of wear. The shell is maker-marked “EF64” with a serial number “2724” (though the first “2” is slightly worn and barely readable, so we are not sure about the first number). The liner is also in untouched condition and includes its original drawstring. The brown leather chinstrap is present, full length, shows some cracks but still supple, RB number stamped. Notably, all three liner-retaining rivets are untouched and remain perfectly straight.
