RAF Mk IVB Flying Goggles with Flipshield
A scarce pair of original WWII RAF Mk. IVB Flying Goggles, complete with the rare flipshield “Screen, Anti-Glare”. The flipshield, or more correctly ‘Screen, Anti-Glare’ is fitted with the small enclosed type spring mechanism. The goggles are in good used condition, shows traces of usage and the flipshield is a little bit turned but that does not affect its display. The lenses are all original, and good condition. The strap and sprung loops are in lovely condition, with the springs still flexible, and the strap itself clearly Air Ministry marked.
A beautiful and rare example of Battle of Britain-era RAF goggles.
