RAF ‘Beadon’ flying suit knife

Original WWII RAF ‘Beadon’ flying suit knife. Sometimes referred to as the R.A.F. Clasp-Knife. Manufactured with a simple folded sheet steel body in a ‘blued’ finish. Fitted with two blades, standard single edged spear-point blade and a non-edged spike. These knives were issued as part of the Beadon Flying Suit (Lightweight Flying Overall). There is also a suggestion that these were sometimes packed in Red Cross parcels or even dropped to Resistance Forces. The knife is unmarked. There is relatively minor/light surface corrosion but most of the blued finish remains. Once relatively common they have now become a rare find.
