German Trophy Belt with British & Canadian cap badge.

A nice original German leather waist belt with metal buckle which has been modified by a British or Canadian soldier during WWII. This style of belt was popular during World War Two. They have different nicknames including ‘Hate Belt’ and ‘Trophy Belt’. Some soldiers made these by collecting different cap badges and buttons. The belt itself is German leather waist belt size 95 with a metal belt buckle, the soldier has added the following cap badge:
