British RAC Beret 1945

Original WWII British Royal Armoured Corps Black Beret. This genuine WWII-era British Royal Armoured Corps black beret is in excellent condition. It remains unworn and has never had holes for a cap badge, allowing you to choose and add your own. The leather band has some loose stitching where the drawstring meets. The wool and liner make it easy to punch through if needed. Maker-marked Kangol Wear Limited and dated 1945, it comes in a small size 6. The Canadian Armoured Corps was primarily issued British-made berets, making this an excellent addition to a Canadian militaria collection.
